SolarPad Installation Types
-
On-Grid System
A PV system connected to the electricity grid. The system will draw power when the PV cannot generate enough energy, such as during cloudy weather or at night.
-
Off-Grid System
A PV system that is not connected to the electricity grid. This means the system must generate and store (using battery storage) all the electricity it needs.
-
Hybrid System
A combination of On-Grid and Off-Grid systems. This means the system can use electricity from the grid when the solar panels do not produce enough power, such as at night or during bad weather. In addition, electricity can also be stored in batteries to be used when the grid power is down.
